Big Water Town Council: public hearings on budget amendment and pay scale
The Big Water Town Council meeting has been moved from October 21 to Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at Big Water Town Hall, 60 N Aaron Burr, Big Water, because a quorum was not available. Schedule: work session 6:30 PM; public hearings 7:00 PM and 7:01 PM; town council meeting 7:02 PM. 7:00 PM public hearing: amending the FY 2026-2027 budget to: - Appropriate $46,927.36 (remaining amount) from a Kane County Recreation & Transportation Special Service District grant for a picnic pavilion project - Appropriate $3,716 in fire account donations for SCBA equipment - Add a $1,500 state grant from Social Connections - Add a $190,476.19 Department of Homeland Security Assistance to Firefighters grant 7:01 PM public hearing: amending Municode Section 03.06.020, the Big Water pay scale, for a Deputy Fire Chief position.
