Plain and short, because that's how we run.
To understand which pages are useful, Citizen Kane uses Google Analytics, which sets a first-party cookie and reports anonymized usage to Google. We don't run ads, sell data, or share it with anyone else. If you use an ad blocker or your browser's tracking protection, that's fine with us. We collect only the information you choose to submit (event details, business listings, newsletter email). We never sell your data.
What you submit lives in our database (hosted with Supabase in the United States) and, for newsletter emails, with our email delivery service — nowhere else. Want something you submitted corrected or deleted? Ask through the contact page and we'll take care of it.
