The summer home and studio of Western painter Maynard Dixon, preserved by the Thunderbird Foundation, with tours of the log house and grounds and a gallery of art on site. Season: Self-guided and docent tours March-November (weather permitting); gallery year-round. Admission: Self-guided tour $20; docent-guided tour $40 (by appointment).
