The Town of Alton's Independence Day parade — celebrating 250 years of freedom, 1776–2026. Flag raising at the Town Park flag pole, 9:00–9:15 AM. Parade lineup 9:30–10:00 AM on 100 North. Parade 10:00–10:30 AM. Stick around after: patriotic program at the Firehouse at the Park, 11 AM–12 PM. Lunch on your own afterward.
